From a young age Joe has always been athletic and involved in various sports. As an all-star athlete he attended Brigham Young University on a football scholarship as a linebacker from 1994-1998. Following BYU he started his own delivery service/moving company in Arizona from 2000-2008, as an entrepreneur. He successfully built and sold the company 3 years before getting involved with Knights of Mayhem. His daughter Jaden was born in 2002, and since then, he has been working, doing whatever it takes to provide for her. The opportunity to become part of The Knights of Mayhem was proposed from Gabriel Giordano (BYU teammate 1994-1998) in January 2011. This challenge was accepted, although Joe had no equine or jousting experience when he started training with Charlie Andrews and Knights of Mayhem in February 2011. With proper training and dedication I have now competed in several Jousting tournaments across the West Coast of United States, Gulf Coast Championships in Austin, TX, The UJC Qualifying Tournament in Ogden, UT, UJC 1 in Las Vegas, NV (where he placed 5th) and The World Championships in Estes Park, Co (where he placed 6th). Since September, 2011 he relocated to Eagle Mountain, Utah in order to train with Charlie Andrews (Jousting World Champion). Joe works to fine tune his horsemanship and continue to train as hard as he can, and hopes to one day be considered one of the top knights in Knights of Mayhem.
