UJC – Ultimate Jousting Championship Announces First Sanctioned Event

Las Vegas, Nevada (June 18, 2011) – Calling all Equestrian, Bull riding and Contact sports enthusiasts! Prepare yourselves for Full-Contact Heavy-Armored Jousting! Charlie Andrews, the current reigning world champion of Jousting will compete in the event, and contend for the $10,000 dollar prize. Charlie will face off against veteran Jousters as well as new comers to the sport. Amongst them will be Jake The Snake Paul, MMA fighter and region Welter-weight champion. Come watch this bone crushing event at the South Point Arena. 600 ton’s of dirt will be the playground for brutish warriors to battle to determine who will be the Ultimate Jousting Champion!
This UJC event will feature the “Knights of Mayhem”, a new reality series debuting on National Geographic Channel this Fall. The TV show follows the Knights of Mayhem, namely Charlie Andrews, Captain of the “Knights” as they prepare for and compete in full-contact arena’s across the US. The UJC (Ultimate Jousting Championship) will open it’s doors June 18th at 5PM, event starting at 7PM in the South Point Arena, located in the South Point Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas Nevada.
